Thymuskin is well tolerated and suitable for long-term use. In addition to the GKL-02 Thymic Peptide Complex, Thymuskin contains additional care substances for skin and hair. All Thymuskin shampoos and serums are free from silicones, parabens and animal ingredients.
The good tolerability and the so-called cosmetic acceptance have been repeatedly tested within the framework of controlled scientific application observations and studies at German and international skin and university clinics1.

The GKL-02 Thymic Peptide Complex contained in Thymuskin and selected care ingredients revitalize and regenerate the hair. The active and care ingredients in the Thymuskin shampoo lines also take particular account of individual hair and scalp types.
Natural active ingredients such as caffeine, vitamin E and urtica dioica have additional nourishing functions. They also contain cosmetic ingredients such as panthenol and plant proteins, which in turn form a group with hair-care properties.
The result is naturally beautiful hair, free from parabens, silicones and animal ingredients.
Shedding effect: At the start of treatment with Thymuskin, there may be a short-term increase in the number of hairs that fall out. These are hairs in the resting phase of the hair cycle that will fall out shortly afterwards anyway. This is a natural process to make room for new hair growth. It shows that you are responding to Thymuskin and is a positive signal.
However, if you are unsettled by this positive signal, we recommend the following procedure to minimize the effect: Apply the respective Thymuskin Serum only every 2nd day during the first 4 weeks, and daily thereafter. You can adapt the respective Thymuskin Shampoo to your usual washing rhythm (at least once a week).
Thymuskin Med Shampoo and Thymuskin Med Serum Gel in particular are also suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding and for children aged 3 and over. All Thymuskin shampoos can be used in this context without hesitation. Thymuskin is very well tolerated when used as directed.
